About me

The first public display of my work was when my gouache painting of The Wooded Path was selected for inclusion in the Stockport & District Art Exhibition in March 1954.

A life- long interest in painting started in my schooldays but it was not until I had retired from legal practice that I was able to attend art school and paint professionally.

Exhibitions in the West of England followed and I began to have work accepted by a number of galleries.

Since moving to Norfolk in 1995 I have had paintings selected for exhibition by the RSMA and the ROI.

I have been tutoring adult groups and writing for arts magazines and books for over thirty years.

I am a former President and now a Fellow of the Institute of East Anglian Artists.

My work records enjoyable personal experiences celebrates the times in which we live.
